Eats

Russ Rupe's answer...

Local eats was the original ask when I made this list, so I'll skip the large chains and include smaller chains and one-offs where I and my family have eaten and want to go back. Again, there are a ton of fantastic big chains in the area too (ranging from Chick-fil-A to Stony River Steakhouse to First Watch). This list has a wide range of prices, time commitments, and distances from the hotel.

Bishop's Meat & 3 (Southern; also serves Hattie B's Nashville hot chicken, Hattie B also has a standalone at the Factory) • Big Shakes Hot Chicken (shrimp sandwich was on SharkTank) • Waldo's Chicken & Beer • Tito's Mexican • Garcia's Mexican • Vui's Vietnamese • Maniac's Chicken • The Rutlage (upscale American) • Wild Ginger (fusion) • House of India • Bawarchi Biryani Point (Indian...get chicken divine) • Ground (burgers) • Burger Up • North Italia • Quinn's Pub • Jim & Nick's BBQ • Edley's BBQ • Jonathan's (American) • Grays (Southern) • Sopapilla's (upscale Mexican) • Condado (upscale Mexican) • Granite City (American) • Puckett's (Southern) • 55 South (NOLA) • McCreary's Irish Pub • Frothy Monkey (breakfast) • Coffee House on 2nd&Bridge • Merridee's (breakfast) • Franklin Mercantile (breakfast) • 1799 (upscale American) • Brixx (pizza) • Handel's (the messiah of) Ice Cream is both nearby and amazing (take it from me, a 4-year Ohio interloper)

Everyone else's answer...

Wherever you decide on, please enjoy your meals out and try not to bring too much back to eat. We get push back from the hotel and would rather see games on tables than a huge buffet. :) For lunch, consider enjoying the hot food bar near the library area. It includes one (1) protien, yummy vegatables, a salad, a soft drink/tea/coffee, and cookies. The menu is chef's choice, but it's always been shocking delicious in the past. Spend your time gaming and not driving! Plus, it's only $15 and helps TGD pay for the space.
